Welcome to Loafin Bakery
We are excited to bring a Bakery back to our community The smells coming from the kitchen will bring back memories of the old fashioned bakeries we knew and loved. We bake from scratch daily with fresh and local ingredients. We invite you to loaf with us and have a bottomless cup of freshly brewed organic coffee. You may also enjoy our specially blended tea with your baked good, or like the kid in all of us – have a cookie with an ice cold glass of milk!
At Loafin Bakery Café, we are combining the old-fashioned feel of fresh home-baked treats with the modern feel of a Wi-Fi enabled coffeehouse. You’ll find your favorite cookies, muffins, sweet breads, pies, and cakes in our cases. We think you’ll be tempted to try our new creations, too!
Summer Time At Loafin
We participate in several community events during the summer time. We are participating in 2 farmer’s market this year. Our Lower Burrell Farmer’s Market is held every Saturday’s from 9am to 1pm. This farmers market, organized by Bud Myers, opened its season last week on June 21 and will run until mid-October. We are also participating in the Pittsburgh Mills Farmer’s Market held every Thursday from 3pm-7pm. This market started June 5 and runs until mid-October as well.
We sell various products at our Farmers Markets and change up the items from week to week. At the LB Farmer’s Market we will charcoal grill hotdogs, kielbasa & kraut, sweet/hot sausage with grilled onions and peppers every week with the exception of the weeks that we will be on vacation. We will serve quiche, cookies, baked goods, coffee, cinnamon rolls, cakes, cupcakes, brownies and so many more of our delicious products.
We also pop and serve our Kettle Corn. We haul our kettle to the events and freshly pop the best kettle corn you can taste in the A-K valley. You have to try our popcorn!
We do encourage you to join us for these events. They occur rain or shine! Come join us!
We finally made it to Spring! Whew …. what a long winter. Although I suspect a few more cold spells, at least we have hit SPRING! Longer Days means more time to visit our Loafin Bakery Café!
We have several different muffins in our cases this week along with new products (Cherry Tarts & Lady Long Horns).
